Transformation of Sentences: Assertive- Negative- Interrogative- Exclamatory

Ø Every এর পরিবর্তে there is no + everyএর সাথে সংযুক্ত word+ but+…………………
 Ex: Everyone loves him.  Neg: There is no one but loves him.
Ø Must এর পরিবর্তে cannot but/ cannot help(v+ ing)হয়।
Ex: We must obey our parents.  Neg: We cannot help obeying our parents.
Ø Auxiliary verb+ not +sub+ verb+ ex…..
Ex: he is a good boy. In: Isn’t he a good boy?
Ø Everybody, everyone, allএর পরিবর্তে whoবসে এবং every+ noun হলে  Is there any +noun+ who doesn’t+……….

Ex: Everybody loves him. In: Who doesn’t love him?

Ex: Every mother loves her child. In: Is there any mother who doesn’t love her child.

Ø এবার দেখুন affirmative এর কোন word -negative করার সময় এ কি word এ পরিবর্তন হয়ঃ

Too ….to	So….that		Aff:  He is too weak to go. Neg:  He is so weak that he cannot go.

1	But Ex: He is poor but he is honest.	Although / Though Ex: Though he is poor, He is honest.	In spite of / Despite Ex: In spite of his being poor, he is honest.
2	Or Ex: Study hard or you will fail.	If you do not (negative)sub+verb…. Ex: If you do not study hard, you will fail.	Without + verb(ing) Ex: Without studying hard, you will fail.
3	Verb…..and Ex: Do it and you will be punished?	If you do(affirmative)sub+….. Ex: If you do it you, you will be punished.	By + verb(ing) Ex: By doing it, you will be punished.
4	Subject….and Ex: We went to his office and we found him absent.	When/ As/ Since সময় বুঝালে when, কারন বুঝালে since/as হয়। Ex: When we went to his office, we found him absent.	Verb(ing) Ex: Going to his office, we found his absent.
5	And he want/ wanted to Ex: He studied hard and he wanted to pass.	So that+sub+can/may/ could/might+ verb Ex: He studied hard so that he could pass.	To+ verb Ex: He studied hard to pass.
6	Very …..and Ex: he is very weak and he cannot move.	So +adj/ad+that+sub +cannot/could not+… Ex: He is so weak that he cannot move.	Too+adj/ad+to+verb Ex: He is too weak to move.
7	Not only…. But also Ex: He ate not only a mango but also an apple.	When/as/since Ex: When he ate a mango, he ate an apple.	Besides+ verb(ing) Ex: Besides eating a mango he ate an apple.
